A planned upgrade should not wake the person on call or spoil uptime statistics.
The task
During maintenance, checks are expected to fail. Without a maintenance window, that means a flood of alerts and a stain on the uptime history.
How it is solved
A maintenance window sets the time, the affected products and resources and three flags: mute alerts, show the maintenance on the status page, exclude the window from the SLA. Maintenance can be cancelled or deleted until it starts.
