Uptime and error budget
Know not only whether it is down, but also how much more downtime you can afford.

The task
Without an availability target, it is unclear when there have been too many outages and it is time to pause releases for the sake of reliability.
How it is solved
An availability target and a window in days are set for a resource. A3.Observe calculates actual availability, the remaining downtime budget in minutes and its burn rate. The overview shows uptime for 24 hours, 7 and 30 days, active major alerts and the slowest monitors.
What is included
- Availability target and calculation window for a resource
- Remaining downtime budget in minutes
- Budget burn rate
- Overview: uptime for 24 hours, 7 and 30 days
- Resource statistics by 5 minutes, hours and days
- Maintenance can be excluded from the calculation
Limitations
- The depth of check history depends on the plan.
- There is no separate SLA report for export: the data is visible in the interface and in the business data export.
